When the software loads, a list of all the supported software programs is shown. If you have these programs already installed on your computer, Question Reader will be able to read those questions. If you purchased the TestMaker Upgrade Module for any of your Knightlite Software titles and created your own custom tests, Question Reader will be able to read those questions as well. To load a test, double-click on the software title, and the main testing screen will appear.

The chapter list will appear on the left, and the question will appear on the right. You navigate through the questions just like our other software utilizing the First, Back, Next, and Last buttons. You answer a question using the buttons next to the potential answers.

There are two modes of operation for this software program, and they include the Regular Mode, and the Presentation Mode.
To operate it in the Regular Mode, you simply click on the Read button, and Ahsha (our animated agent) will explode on to the screen and begin reading the question out loud to you. Once he finishes reading, he will patiently wait for you to answer the question. When you select an answer, the Ahsha will tell you if you answered the question correctly or incorrectly. If you answered it incorrectly, he will tell you what the correct answer should have been. He will then move on to the next question.
The second mode of operation is the Presentation Mode. This sets the software to self-run, just like a movie. Click the Presentation button and Ahsha will read the question, immediately tell you the correct answer, and then move on to the next question. You can just sit back and listen or do other things around your house while he reads to you. You can interrupt him at anytime and click on an answer. He will stop reading and tell you whether or not you answered the question correctly or incorrectly. He will tell you what the correct answer should have been if you answered it incorrectly, and then move on to the next question.
The animated agent has three reading settings so you can go through the questions at your own pace. Those settings are Normal, Fast and Slow.

While Ahsha is reading, a balloon appears over his head and the words appear as he is reading. If you do not want the balloon to show, simply click on the Balloon OFF button. If you want the balloon to appear again, click on the Balloon On button.

You can take tests in the order in which the questions originally appeared, or randomize the questions. You can also create tests from multiple chapters. Simply drag the chapter from the list on the left, and drop it over on the list to the right. Enter the number of questions you would like, and the Question Reader software will create a random multiple choice test from the chapters you have selected.
